An Escape Room Experience for Tweens!
Players are locked in the Meeting Hall and must uncover clues and hidden objects to escape. Fuel up beforehand with some pizza and then spend time with other kids working together to unravel the mystery of the Stargazer's Manor and save a well-known astronomer by finding clues and solving puzzles. But be careful, in this nail-biting party game, the doors have shut and locked behind you. Will you and your friends be able to solve the mystery and save the astronomer before time runs out?
Paula Caplan grew up listening to -- but not remembering -- stories her beloved father, Jerome Caplan, told yearly about being Captain of an all-Black battery in The Battle of the Bulge. Her bewilderment about her inability to remember those stories led her to listen to hundreds of veterans.
Eight World War II Veterans/Artists recount their service experience and their use of art for journalism, as a tactical tool and as a way to preserve their own sanity. Covering all branches of the military (including the once top-secret Deception Corps), their powerful imagery will enlighten, challenge, even amuse; showing that war is indeed hell but that creativity and hope can exist in the face of destruction.
