T(w)een Summer Reading Program - Fused Glass Pendants and Magnets
Fused glass is both gorgeous and fun to make! Come join us for a very cool evening. You will be able to make multiple fused glass pendants and magnets. They make great gifts for loved ones. Or to keep for yourself!

Children's Summer Reading Program - Circus Dynamics
Circus Dynamics offers an energetic, audience interactive, and highly skilled circus variety show. Full of laughs and incredible tricks, this top quality performance is non-stop energy and excitement. Audience members may be surprised when they get called up on stage and become part of the show!

T(w)een Summer Reading Program - Learn to Rock Sewing with Dancing Threads
Learn to Sew! T(w)eens will create a sewn paper journal/notebook while learning basic sewing skills like threading a needle, tying knots, and sewing a seam. T(w)eens are involved in the design process for the cover of their notebooks, and leave with a completed book to use throughout their summer or academic year. Variation will be available to challenge those who are already comfortable sewing.
This program is for t(w)eens entering grades 5 and up. Registration is required.
Children's Summer Reading Program - The Shanteyman, B.J. Whitehouse
Jamestown resident BJ Whitehouse (AKA The Shanteyman) presents a program of music, poetry and stories of the sea. Kids will play in a 'fufu' band, an improvisational group of players on pots and pans! Or, they will use a light block-and-tackle in a fun tug-of-war to experience the mechanical advantage of simple machines. The music of the sea is as wide as the Atlantic and as deep as the ocean. Aside from shanties, sailors sang forebitters, which were ballads or popular songs of the day. The Shanteyman uses a multi-media presentation to inspire and entertain kids.
Children's Summer Reading Program - Fiddle 'N Fun
Fiddle N' Fun! This program includes music, movement and more and is geared toward families with children entering Kindergarten and up.
No registration is necessary but space is limited to 100.
T(w)een Summer Reading Program - Henna Workshop

Bwana Iguana Reptile Adventure is a fast paced, hands on show that brings the audience into the mysterious world of reptiles.
