Apples, Art, and Spirit: Growing an Organic Apple Orchard

The Quononoquott Garden Club and the Friends of the Jamestown Philomenian Library Present:

Apples, Art, and Spirit: Growing an Organic Apple Orchard

Saturday, October 19, 2:30 pm, Meeting Hall, Jamestown Philomenian Library

Brief Club Meeting at 2:00 pm

Artist Linda Hoffman saved an abandoned orchard and reshaped her life at Old Frog Pond Farm in Harvard, Massachusetts. Along the way, she experienced, as we often do, the spiritual fulfillment of growing plants and fruit, as well as creating a community of artists, farmers, gardeners, poets, and seekers. She will share what she learned about growing apples and make suggestions for growing our own backyard orchards. Cosponsored with Friends of Library

The program is free and open to the public.
